Testing
SHORT DESCRIPTION: The ERCOT Market Operations Test
Environment (MOTE) will be open for Daylight Savings Time testing.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSE Operations Personnel
DAYS AFFECTED: October 14, 2008 and October 16, 2008
LONG DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Energy Policy Act
of 2005, Daylight Savings Time (DST) was extended by one month
starting in 2007. DST ends on Sunday, November 2, 2008.
The
ERCOT Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE) will be available for
Market Participant testing on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, with a
back-up testing day of Thursday, October 16, 2008. This testing will
follow the simulated times shown in the table below. The MOTE will be
unavailable on Monday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in order
to prepare for the tests.
