NOTICE TYPE:  R-A082908-04 FINAL Reminder:  Other – Customer Billing Contact Information File

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Competitive Retailer (CR) submission of Customer Billing Contact Information (CBCI) should be created and submitted between October 1, 2008 – October 15, 2008.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All CRs

DAY AFFECTED: October 1, 2008 – October 15, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  As required by the Retail Market Guide Section 7.11.6.2, Monthly Submission of Customer Billing Contact Information, all CRs shall submit, monthly, timely and complete Customer billing contact information files.  Files shall be created and submitted to ERCOT between the 1st and 15th of each calendar month.

CRs shall not split their Customer Billing Contact Information files.  Each CR shall send only one file per DUNS number.  An additional file for the same DUNS number will overwrite the previously sent file, resulting in only partial information being saved.  For any DUNS numbers that do not have active ESI IDs, the CR will not be required to submit a file for Customer Billing Contact Information.

ACTION REQUIRED: Between October 1, 2008 – October 15, 2008, all CRs should submit to ERCOT, via NAESB, a Customer Billing Contact Information File (CBCI file).  For any DUNS numbers that do not have active ESI IDs, the CR will not be required to submit a file for Customer Billing Contact Information.
