NOTICE TYPE:  R-B102408-01 Retail Processing   

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  On Thursday October 9, 2008, ERCOT experienced an internal system processing issue for 867_03s prepping to load into the Settlements System.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 3:00 AM through 3:00 PM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On Thursday October 9, 2008, ERCOT experienced an internal system processing issue for 867_03s prepping to load into the Settlements System.  During the recovery process, a manual oversight occurred and a step was missed causing the 867_03 transactions received during the time frame of October 9, 2008 from 3:00 AM through 3:00 PM to not be processed into the Settlement system on October 10, 2008 as regularly scheduled.

ERCOT has confirmed that there were no issues with receiving or forwarding the 867_03s from/to the market participants on October 9, 2008.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  For those 867_03 transactions that have been identified to have not processed into the Settlement system, ERCOT will be including them in the usage data load for October 25, 2008.  

 

Affected TDSPs have been notified via ERCOT Initiated MarkeTrak issues of any ESIIDs that need to be reviewed as a result of subsequent 867_03 transactions being submitted since October 10, 2008.
