SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Probable Settlement dates for Emergency Interruptible Load Service for the Contract Period of June 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs

DAY AFFECTED:  June 1 through September 30, 2008 EILS Contract Period will be settled on the Initial Settlement of Operating Day November 26, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has established the probable Settlement schedule for Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) for the Contract Period of June 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008.  The affected charge types will be included in an Initial Settlement Statement as indicated by the table below:

These dates represent ERCOT’s best projection for this Settlement schedule, but remain subject to minor adjustments.

Pursuant to Protocols Section 6.8.6 (2), “ERCOT shall assess the settlement payment for EILS for each EILS Contract Period on the Initial Settlement Statement for an Operating Day no later than seventy (70) calendar days after the last Operating Day of the EILS Contract Period.” 

The adjusted final EILS payments for the June - September 2008 Contract Period are as follows:

This amount differs from the amount originally projected in the May 19, 2008 Market Notice due to availability factor adjustments and an adjustment made by ERCOT to one QSE’s EILS awarded capacity, all pursuant to the Protocols.
