NOTICE TYPE:  R-A122308-01 – Outage – Retail MarkeTrak API

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be taking a MarkeTrak – API outage outside the Service Level Agreement timeframe, December 29, 2008, from 7:00 PM through 7:30 PM.  

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  December 29, 2008, from 7:00 PM through 7:30 PM.    

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be taking a MarkeTrak – API outage outside the Service Level Agreement timeframe, December 29, 2008, from 7:00 PM through 7:30 PM to update to the latest MarkeTrak XSD and WSDL files.  

ERCOT identified a discrepancy pertaining to the execution of a single transition (Unexecutable) when accessed via the API for Inadvertent Gaining and Inadvertent Losing issues.  The mismatched value was updated in the latest release of the attached XSD and WSDL files.  The MarkeTrak issues affected by this discrepancy have all been resolved.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Market participants utilizing the MarkeTrak API are asked to import these files during the window indicated above to avoid receiving errors. The updated MarkeTrak XSD and WSDL files are located on ERCOT.com under the MarkeTrak Information Page.
