NOTICE DATE: December 10, 2008 NOTICE TYPE: R-A121008-01 Testing - Retail: Announcement - Retail Market Qualification Testing- Flight 0209 TX Set Version 3.0 SHORT DESCRIPTION: The next round of Retail Market Qualification Testing (Flight 0209) is scheduled to begin on Friday, February 13, 2009. The deadline to register for participation in Flight 0209 - Retail Market Testing is Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 5:00 PM CPT. INTENDED AUDIENCE: Current and potential new Retail Competitive Retailers (CRs) and Transmission Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs) LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT and the Texas Test Plan Team (TTPT) would like to announce that preparations are underway for the next round of Retail Market Qualification Testing, Flight 0209. Flight 0209 will test for TX SET Version 3.0 and it is scheduled to begin on Friday, February 13, 2009. Testing is required for new Market Participants (CRs and TDSPs) entering the Texas Retail Market, as well as for current Market Participants entering new service territories, testing additional business functionality, or adding another entity to their business umbrella. The deadline to register for participating in Flight 0209 - Retail Market Testing is Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 5:00 PM CPT. ERCOT will NOT host a mandatory orientation meeting in preparation for Flight 0209. The Texas Test Plan Team has determined that no mandatory market orientation meeting will be needed. The Testing Worksheets (TWs) on the Retail Testing Website will be unlocked on Wednesday, January 7, 2009.
