SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The Non-Interval Data Recorder (NIDR) 867_03 activity reports issue has been fixed.
 
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  December 30, 2008 through January 20, 2009

                                                                   

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Non-Interval Data Recorder (NIDR) 867_03 activity reports issue has been fixed. The final number of transactions affected is 660.

MarkeTrak issues have been submitted to the affected Market Participants to determine next steps regarding the 660 transactions.

An additional check has been put into place to ensure that this issue does not recur.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The root cause was a code change applied to address another issue inadvertently affecting transaction processing of certain records.

NOTICE TYPE:  R-A011609-02 – UPDATE:  Extracts - Retail

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Non-Interval Data Recorder (NIDR) 867_03 activity reports may potentially contain incomplete data.  Implementation of a repair is now scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2009.
 
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  December 30, 2008 through present

                                                                   

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has identified that the Non-Interval Data Recorder (NIDR) 867_03 activity reports may potentially contain incomplete data. Preliminary analysis shows the number of affected records to be 531.  Affected parties will be notified via MarkeTrak issues to determine the best course of action concerning these transactions.

 

ERCOT is currently addressing this issue.  Implementation of a repair is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The root cause is due to a code change applied to address another issue inadvertently affecting transaction processing of certain records.

 

ERCOT will send additional market notices as further information become available.
