SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Unit Test Web Application Enhancements

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)

DAY AFFECTED:  February 12, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC) application has been available through the Texas Market Link (TML) since September 1, 2008, for Market Participants.  This application is a web interface that allows Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) with Generation Resources to submit the ERCOT-required seasonal High Sustainable Limit (HSL), biennial unit reactive tests, and results of the unannounced tests online. 

 

Please note that for Jointly Owned Units (JOUs), the Master QSE should submit the Seasonal HSL.  The HSL submitted should reflect the whole physical unit.

Based on feedback from the market, a few enhancements have been made to the NDCRC application and will be implemented on February 12, 2009. These enhancements include:

 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Effective December 1, 2008, use of the NDCRC application has been mandatory for submitting seasonal, biennial unit tests and results of unannounced tests.  Paper copies are no longer accepted.
