DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has an on-cycle
Retail Release scheduled from 12:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2009 through 12:00
AM Monday, February 23, 2009. For
reference, seven (7) Market impacting SIRs and fourteen (14) non-Market
impacting SIRs are included in the attachment.
ERCOT will
implement SIR 12140 to enhance the Customer Registration Database with a change
from Active Directory (AD) to Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
Implementation of SIR 12140 will resolve the Market Participant Dispute function
that currently is not operating properly. ERCOT has had a workaround in
place.
This enhancement will be a permanent
solution.
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: During the outage the
following functions will be affected:

Market
Participants utilizing NAESB to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT
be able to send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail transactions.
·
867 transactions
will NOT be forwarded during the outage.
·
997 Functional
Acknowledgements will NOT be sent during the outage.
·
Components of the
TML and Commercial API will NOT be available including:

Find ESI ID
·
Find Transaction
·
Submit
Transactions
·

Report Explorer,
including

·

Invoices
