The root cause was ERCOT’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application experiencing a degradation in which processes were running long because of locks on the database.  Additional details will be provided in the monthly ERCOT IT Incident Market Notice Summary.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT Retail Account Manager’s will provide affected Market Participant’s with a list of impacted transactions by the end of day Friday, February 20, 2009.
