SHORT DESCRIPTION:  RFP for Black Start Services for 2010 through 2011

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Potential Black Start Service Bidders

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Black Start Services for the period of January 1, 2010, through December 31, 2011.  Responses to this RFP are due June 1, 2009.

The Black Start Services RFP will be posted April 1, 2009, on the ERCOT Black Start website at https://tmlretail.ercot.com/ercot/Participants/PublicMarketInfo/BSTF.htm.  An ERCOT digital certificate is required to access this site.  Questions and answers related to this RFP as well as additional information on ERCOT’s Black Start process are available at the Black Start website.
