SHORT DESCRIPTION: Since the implementation
of SIR 12042 (the auto log-out functionality in MarkeTrak) on Tuesday,
March 24, 2009, ERCOT
has received several inquiries regarding a prompt requesting a User ID and
password to regain access to MarkeTrak after long periods of inactivity.

LONG DESCRIPTION: Since
the implementation of SIR 12042 (the auto log-out functionality in
MarkeTrak) on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, ERCOT has received several inquiries regarding a
prompt requesting a User ID and Password to regain access to MarkeTrak after
long periods of inactivity.
ERCOT implemented this SIR to alleviate the high volume of
users unable to access MarkeTrak due to the error message “No Concurrent
licenses are available”.
When MarkeTrak users are auto logged off from the active
license pool and activity resumes in MarkeTrak, the user will be presented with
a pop-up log in screen asking for a User ID and a password. This applet,
as well as the original MarkeTrak browser should both be closed, and a new
browser session opened to restore the authentication required to use
MarkeTrak.

Application was completed at approximately 8:55 PM. SIR 12042, which will
automatically log users out after 2.5 hours of inactivity, was successfully
implemented.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs
SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will be taking an outage of the MarkeTrak
Application GUI and API outside of the Service Level Agreement timeframe. This
outage will occur on March 24, 2009 from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
DAY AFFECTED: March 24, 2009 from
7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will be taking an
outage of the MarkeTrak Application GUI and API outside of the Service Level
Agreement timeframe. This outage will occur on March 24, 2009 from 7:00 PM
until 10:00 PM to implement SIR 12042. This SIR will add to MarkeTrak the
auto-log off feature. Going forward, MarkeTrak will automatically log users out
after 2.5 hours of inactivity.
