SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Removal of Conditional North to Houston CREs

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  April 22, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Effective today, ERCOT is terminating use of the Peters to Flewellen 138 kV line and the Tomball to Hockley 138 kV line as Closely Related Elements (CREs) and will be updating the North to Houston CRE Real Time posting to reflect the removal of these lines as CREs.  Since the Singleton outage has been completed, these conditional CREs, which were requested to assist ERCOT in setting the North to Houston Commercially Significant Constraints (CSCs) thermal limits, are no longer needed.  The CSC/CRE website located at the link below will be updated to reflect the change.
