NOTICE TYPE:  R-A041309-01 Outage Notice – Retail Processing

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an outage of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping servers from 5:35 PM to 6:15 PM on April 13, 2009.
 
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  LSEs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  April 13, 2009 from 5:35 PM to 6:15 PM

                                                                   

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an outage of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping servers from 5:35 PM to 6:15 PM on April 13, 2009.

The EDI Mapping services stopped on all four processor servers.  Alerts for this issue were not generated as expected.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Processing resumed at 6:15 PM and ERCOT has found no processing errors.  The root cause is not yet determined.

At no time was NAESB affected, and all files were received from Market Participants without interruption.
