Retail Market Qualification Testing - Flight 0609 TX Set Version 3.0
SHORT DESCRIPTION: The next round of Retail Market Qualification
Testing (Flight 0609) is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 19, 2009. The
deadline to register for participation in Flight 0609 - Retail Market Testing
is Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM CPT.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Existing and potential new Competitive Retailers
(CRs) and Transmission Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs)
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT and the Texas Test Plan Team (TTPT) would like
to announce that preparations are underway for the next round of Retail Market
Qualification Testing, Flight 0609. Flight 0609 will test for TX SET
Version 3.0 and it is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 19, 2009.
Testing is required for new Market Participants (CRs and TDSPs) entering the
Texas Retail Market, as well as for existing Market Participants entering new
service territories, testing additional business functionality, changing
service providers, or adding another entity to their business umbrella.
The deadline to register for participating in Flight 0609 - Retail Market
Testing is Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM CPT.
ERCOT
will NOT host a mandatory orientation meeting in preparation for Flight
0609. The Texas Test Plan Team has determined that no mandatory
market orientation meeting will be needed.
The
Testing Worksheets (TWs) on the Retail Testing Website will be unlocked on Wednesday,
May 13, 2009.
ACTION
REQUIRED: Existing CRs and TDSPs participating
in Flight 0609 will need to complete the following requirements before the
Flight deadline, Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM CPT:

Notify ERCOT of intent to test via
email
o This
notification must include company legal name, company DUNS, and what the
entity will be testing
o Please

Submit an UPDATED Testing
Worksheet (TW)
New CRs and
TDSPs participating in Flight 0609 will need to complete the following
requirements before the Flight deadline, Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 5:00 PM

Go to the D&B website at: http://www.dnb.com/us/
to apply for and receive a DUNS number.

Notify ERCOT of intent to test via
email
o This
notification must include company legal name, company DUNS number, and
what the entity will be testing
o Please

Apply for REP Certification with
the Public Utility Commission of Texas (www.puc.state.tx.us).
o The
potential CR must have filed for PUCT certification and received a PUCT docket
number before the Flight deadline. Please forward this docket number to [log in to unmask]

Submit a completed LSE
Application

Select Registration and Qualification
Select Load Serving Entities
Under Key Documents, Select Load Service Entity

Submit the $500 ERCOT LSE
Application Fee with the LSE Application (per Protocol Section 9.7.5)

Complete and submit a new Testing
