SHORT DESCRIPTION:  PUCT Workshop for developing performance metrics for the ERCOT nodal market.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (commission) will hold a workshop for market participants regarding the commission’s project to develop critical performance metrics and criteria for the ERCOT nodal market. 

This workshop is an opportunity for the stakeholder community to comment on the list of proposed performance measures and pass/fail criteria assembled by the developers. To assist in developing this list of critical performance measures and criteria, the developers used previous work done through the ERCOT stakeholder process, including the work done to date on Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request 25 (NOGRR025). 

The initial list of performance measures and criteria will be filed in commission Project No. 37052 by noon on June 3, 2009. This information may also be accessed on the commission website at: http://www.puc.state.tx.us/ (under Hot Topic Briefs – ERCOT Nodal Metrics Project 37052) by Wednesday, June 3.   The workshop details are as follows:

Date:  Friday, June 12, 2009

Time:  9:30 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m.

Location: Commissioners’ Hearing Room located on the 7th floor of the William B. Travis Building, 1701 North Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas, 78701.
