SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Second PUCT Workshop for developing critical performance metrics for the ERCOT nodal market

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (commission) will hold a second workshop for market participants regarding the commission’s project to develop critical performance metrics and criteria for the ERCOT nodal market. 

This workshop is an opportunity for the stakeholder community to comment on the proposed protocol language addressing performance measures and pass/fail criteria assembled by the developers in the first workshop held on June 3, 2009. To assist in developing this list of critical performance measures and criteria, the developers used previous work done through the ERCOT stakeholder process, including the work done to date on Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request 25 (NOGRR025). Comments may take the form of suggested changes, additions, deletions, or just general related commentary. All comments will be considered for potential revisions to the proposed protocol language.

The developers’ draft protocols will be filed in commission Project No. 37052 by noon on July 2, 2009.
