SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MOS Public outage Saturday, July 25, 2009

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  July 25, 2009, from 4:50 AM to 7:25 AM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The MOS Public functionality of the ERCOT Website experienced an outage in service from 4:50 AM to 7:25 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2009. The root cause has been identified as a server missing a configuration update, which was needed to resolve previous outages, following the July 21, 2009, failover. The configuration was updated and the web services were restarted to restore the application.
