NOTICE DATE: August 10, 2009 NOTICE TYPE: M-A081009-01 Outage - Retail Processing SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT's retail processing systems experienced an outage in service from 11:19 PM Sunday, August 9, 2009 to 12:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2009. INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants DAYS AFFECTED: 11:19 PM Sunday, August 9, 2009 to 12:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2009 LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT's retail processing systems experienced an outage in service from 11:19 PM Sunday, August 9, 2009 to 12:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2009. The root cause was a hardware failure. The retail systems are now functioning properly. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: During the outage the following functions were affected: * 867 transactions were not forwarded during the outage. * 997 Functional Acknowledgements were not sent during the outage. * Components of the TML and Commercial API were not available including: * Find ESI ID * Find Transaction * Submit Transactions * Report Explorer, including * Reports * Extracts * Invoices * Settlement Statements CONTACT: If you have any questions, please contact your ERCOT Account Manager.
