SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced a delay in sending 2,063 cancellation and notification transactions.

DAY AFFECTED:  August 27, 2009
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced a delay in sending 2,063 retail batch transactions. A summary of the impacted transactions is outlined below:

Cancel and notify transactions (814_06s, 814_08s, and 814_22s) that should have been sent by ERCOT yesterday, August 27, 2009 were not sent until today, August 28, 2009.   For example, the 814_06s for Move-In’s were sent one business day prior to the Scheduled Meter Read Date (SMRD) instead of two business days prior to the SMRD.  The 814_06s for Switches were sent four business days prior to the SMRD instead of five business days prior to the SMRD.
No out of sync conditions were identified as a result of this issue. 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT Retail Account Managers will provide affected Market Participant’s with a list of impacted transactions by the end of the day Friday, August 28, 2009.
