approximately 4:02 PM today, Sunday, August 16, 2009. All systems
and transaction processing were reinstated at that time.

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has scheduled a maintenance outage for Sunday,
August 16, 2009 from 8:00 AM through 8:00 PM.
ERCOT will be implementing the
system changes to comply with requirements for the PUCT amendments regarding
expedited switches as previously communicated in Informational Notice R-A071609-01 and in
Market Notice M-A080609-01.
Please refer to the attached SIR
list for details.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: During the outage the following functions will be
affected:
MOS, Scheduling API, MOSTML,
MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as there will be a DNS
failover from Taylor to Austin.
