NOTICE DATE: September 25, 2009 NOTICE TYPE: R-A090309-02 REMINDER - Informational: Change to CBCI File - RMGRR078 - Addition of E-Mail Field to CBCI File SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation of RMGRR078, addition of e-mail field to submitter's CBCI File and the addition of an ESIID field to the ERCOT response file, will be effective with the November CBCI file submission process. ERCOT will conduct a voluntary market test for this change. INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs DAY AFFECTED: October 19, 2009 LONG DESCRIPTION: Preparations are underway to test the new functionalities that will be deployed with the implementation of RMGRR078. Testing is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2009. The new file format will need to be utilized for the November CBCI file submissions. Testing for this upgrade will be on a voluntary basis. After the implementation of RMGRR078, Competitive Retailers (CRs) that do not update their CBCI file submission process to be compatible with these changes will receive reject responses from ERCOT. Therefore, all CRs are encouraged to participate in this testing effort. The deadline to register for participating in the RMGRR078 CBCI file upgrade test is Friday, October 2, 2009. ACTION REQUIRED: To volunteer for the RMGRR078 CBCI file upgrade testing effort, market participants must notify ERCOT of their intent to test prior to the Friday, October 2, 2009 deadline.
