SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Benbrook Autotransformers SPS Approvals

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  September 23, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received a proposal from Oncor Electric Delivery for two new Special Protection Systems (SPS) on the 345/138 kV Autotransformers at the Benbrook Switching Station, as indicated in notice M-B022609-01. The SPSs are series reactor insertions into the 138 kV sides of the Autotransformers.

Effective September 23, 2009, this SPS is in service. Information regarding these SPSs can be viewed on the ERCOT Planning and Operations Information secure website:  http://planning.ercot.com/login/login.
