SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MOSPublic outage Saturday, September 19, 2009

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  September 19, 2009, from 5:00 AM to 7:45 AM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The MOSPublic functionality of the ERCOT Website experienced an outage in service from 5:00 AM to 7:45 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The root cause has been identified as excessive load on the application servers.  Access to the application was limited and the web services were restarted to restore the application.
