SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) failure, causing several applications to become unresponsive from 1:00 PM to 1:35 PM September 29, 2009

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs, QSEs and TDSPs 

DAY AFFECTED:  September 29, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 1:35 PM 

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) failure, causing the following applications to become unresponsive from 1:00 PM to 1:35 PM on September 29, 2009:

·         MarkeTrak API

·         Market Data Transparency (MDT)

·         Find ESIID

·         Find Transaction

·         Retail API

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  This outage was the result of a server within EAI becoming unresponsive. The server was restarted, returning functionality to the applications.
