NOTICE TYPE: R-B092809-01 INITIAL – Retail Processing

SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is currently experiencing retail transaction processing degradation. Some transactions are processing out of protocol.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs        

DAY AFFECTED: September 28, 2009, starting approximately 3:30 AM to current

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is currently experiencing degradation in the processing of retail transactions.

ERCOT is working to resolve this issue.  Efforts are underway to indentify the volume and transactions that were impacted.

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT Retail Account Managers will provide affected Market Participants with an initial list of impacted transactions by the end of the day today and additional lists as they become available.
