ERCOT has analyzed these issues to determine the volume and transactions impacted. INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs DAY AFFECTED: September 27, 2009 from 10:22 PM to September 28, 2009 at 4:34 AM LONG DESCRIPTION: At approximately 7 PM on September 27, 2009, after migration of PR80031_01 Retail Application Upgrades, ERCOT began receiving failed NAESB transactions from one Market Participant and one Service Provider representing 53 Market Participants. ERCOT attempted to contact the market participant and service provider to determine if errors were related to the migration or a different problem. ERCOT was unable to make contact with those market participants and consequently, ERCOT management made the decision to roll back the NAESB portion of the migration. The other components of this weekend's release were not rolled back. Once the rollback was completed some NAESB transactions continued to fail. At 3:00 AM on September 28, 2009, ERCOT was able to contact the service provider. After they rebooted their systems, the errors stopped occurring.
