SHORT DESCRIPTION: Final Reminder - Implementation Details of PRR803, Revised Implementation Approach for PRR601

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs and Resource Entities

DAY AFFECTED:  October 29, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION: PRR803 is changing the ramping period for Base Power Schedules and Balancing Energy Power Schedules from ten (10) minutes to fourteen (14) minutes. This change is designed to provide more efficient dispatch and to allow the deployment of more Balancing Energy Services.

PRR803 will be implemented by ERCOT effective the first interval (00:15 interval) of Thursday, October 29, 2009.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) should be prepared and have personnel ready to make their required system changes for the first interval of Thursday, October 29, 2009.
