has cancelled the outage previously scheduled for the on-cycle Retail Release
for 12:00 PM Saturday, October 24,
2009 through 12:00 AM Monday, October 25, 2009.

LONG
DESCRIPTION: The projects previously scheduled for release this
weekend have not completed required testing and therefore will not be released.
As a result, ERCOT has cancelled the outage previously scheduled for the
on-cycle Retail Release planned for 12:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2009 through 12:00 AM
Monday, October 26, 2009.
The
CBCI file change related to PR90024 will be implemented.
Competitive
Retailers will be required to send the monthly CBCI files in the new format
effective November 1, but all other changes regarding PR90024 will not be
implemented.
Additional
notification will be provided once testing has been completed and these
components of the release rescheduled.
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: All retail market functions will be available over the
weekend.
RMGRR078, Adding
Additional Fields to the Customer Billing Contact Information File (formerly Add
E-mail Field to the Customer Billing Contact Information File) and, RMGRR080,
Define E-mail Address Format for the Detail Record in the Customer Billing
Contact Information File, will both be unboxed after the completion of this
retail release.

ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: During the outage, the following functions will be
affected:

Market Participants utilizing NAESB to
send/receive transactions to/from ERCOT will NOT be able to send/receive
transactions to/from ERCOT during the outage. This includes all retail
transactions.
·
867 transactions will NOT be forwarded during
the outage.
·
997 Functional Acknowledgements will NOT be sent
during the outage.
·
Components of the TML and Commercial API will
NOT be available including:
·
Find ESI ID
·
Find Transaction
·
Submit Transactions
·
USA Functionalities
·
Report Explorer, including
·
Reports
·
Extracts
·
Invoices
·
Settlement Statements

MOS,
Scheduling API, MOSTML, MOSPUBLIC, and Outage Scheduler will not be affected as
there will be a DNS failover from Taylor to Austin.
