SHORT DESCRIPTION:  150 day advanced notice of implementation of LPGRR035, Addition of Time Of Use Schedules (TOUS) to Profiles with Interval Data Recorder (IDR) Meter Data Type Codes for Advanced Meters

DAY AFFECTED:  April 17, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 17, 2009, the ERCOT Board of Directors approved LPGRR035, Addition of Time Of Use Schedules (TOUS) to Profiles with Interval Data Recorder (IDR) Meter Data Type Codes for Advanced Meters. The resulting changes to the Profile Decision Tree (Appendix D of the Load Profiling Guide) will be effective on April 17, 2010.

While LPGRR035 leaves the number of published load profiles unchanged, it adds 756 profile IDs (e.g., BUSHILF_NCENT_IDR_NWS_TOU02) to the Profile Decision Tree (Appendix D of the Load Profiling Guide). The 756 new profile IDs are applicable only in the Oncor service area and will be identified on the FAQ tab of the Profile Decision Tree. The new version of the Profile Decision Tree will be posted with the tag “Effective April 17, 2010” to http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/guides/loadprofiling/current by December 1, 2009. Prior to December 1, the 756 new profile IDs can be found on the FAQ tab of the link titled ‘035LPGRR-03a ERCOT Comments 100109’ at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/lpgrr/025-049/035/index.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants whose systems process load profile IDs (profile codes) need to make sure their systems will appropriately handle the new profile IDs.
