SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Special Protection System Reporting Requirements per OGRR224

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  November 15, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Per OGRR224, ERCOT has issued this Market Notice as a reminder that owners of Special Protection Systems (SPSs) are to provide a monthly report to ERCOT describing each instance an SPS armed/activated and reset. This report will include the date and time of arming/activation and reset. The OGRR did not specify when this report is due or who at ERCOT should receive the report. This Market Notice makes that clarification.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please submit the monthly SPS Operation report to the ERCOT Shift Supervisor [log in to unmask] email address on or before the 15^th of each month, using the format in the attached spreadsheet.
