Annual ERCOT Region Operations Training Seminar Registration Now Open
INTENDED AUDIENCE:
The target audience for the
seminar is qualified scheduling entity (QSE) and transmission/distribution
service provider (TDSP) operators and those who provide management, supervision
and support for the operators. The seminar is also open to power marketers,
retail electric providers and others associated with the bulk electric system.

Note on
Accommodations
The seminar
will be held at the Embassy
Suites San Marcos. The Embassy Suites San Marcos is located at 1001 McCarty
Lane in San Marcos Texas, 78666. Their phone number is 512-392-6450 or you can
go to their Web site to make a reservation, www.sanmarcos.embassysuites.com. Individuals are responsible for
making their own hotel reservations. Texas Regional Entity has a limited block
of rooms available at the Embassy Suites San Marcos for the event rate of $119
for a single or double, $129 for a triple and $139 for a quad room. Please be
sure to mention the following promotional codes to receive the correct rates:

You
are urged to make hotel reservations as soon as possible to ensure that you
have accommodations (especially during the week of March 15th
when South by Southwest will be going on at the same time as the conference). Each individual is also responsible for contacting the
hotel to change or cancel their reservations should the need arise. Texas
Regional Entity and ERCOT will not be held responsible for any hotel charges.
Cost of Registration
before February 15th, 2010- $299.00
Cost of Registration on or
after February 15th, 2010- $349.00
Cancellation of registration
may result in a partial refund ($229.00 of $299.00, or $279.00 of $349.00) only
if it occurs prior to the reservation payment deadline. After the payment deadline
there will be no refund.
Attendants can receive up to
18.5 NERC approved Continuing Education Hours for attending.
The CEH Exam will be
administered this year using iClicker technology. Therefore, each attendee will
answer exam questions using a remote control. As per the Americans with
Disabilities Act should you require a written test be given please contact
Lindley Ellisor at [log in to unmask] or call 512-225-7022. During the seminar, should the
attendee damage, or lose the iClicker, the attendee will be billed thirty eight
dollars to replace the unit.
Payment of the seminar
registration fee is required in advance. Registration will not be complete and
honored if payment is not received in full by the respective payment deadlines
in the Course Schedule. Texas Regional Entity does not accept credit cards.
Registration
will be accepted on a space available basis. Accepted registrants will receive
a confirmation number from Texas Regional Entity.

2. Payment:
Payments
must be made by personal or business check. The check must accompany the
registration form(s). Please be
sure to reference the attendee’s name(s) on the check.

3. Await notice of receipt of
Registration Form and Payment from Texas Regional Entity.
4. Registrations will be accepted on a
space-available basis. Accepted registrants will receive a confirmation number
from Texas Regional Entity. Because the seminar will be held offsite, your
attendance registration number will coincide with a specific badge number. Attendees
will not be able to change places with other attendees after the registration
deadline. If you need to change attendees names you must contact Mishani Kasper
and receive a confirmation. Due to the formal badge assignment process and you
will not be admitted to the conference without a valid registration number.
