SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MOS Listener outage on February 14, 2010

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 14, 2010, from 6:35 AM to 7:08 AM

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT failed to update a configuration file prior to starting the scheduled Maintenance Outage on Sunday morning, February 14, 2010. This resulted in an outage of the MOS Listener from 6:35 AM until 7:08 AM. As a mitigation plan, prior to future Maintenance Outages, a checklist will be performed in order to avoid a similar-type outage.
