SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) Contract Period June 1 through September 30, 2010

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)

DAYS AFFECTED: EILS Resource Identification information is due April 27, 2010; Bids and Self-Provision offers are due May 6, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued a RFP for the EILS Contract Period June 1 through September 30, 2010. Resource identification information is due to ERCOT April 27, 2010. Bids and Self-Provision offers are due May 6, 2010.

All documents associated with the procurement of EILS are available on the ERCOT website. These documents include:

· EILS Resource Submission Form

· EILS Technical Requirements and Scope of Work

· Detailed procurement schedule

Awarded bids will be communicated to QSEs by ERCOT on May 17, 2010. Summary information on these awards will be released in a Market Notice on that date.
