Posting of Entity in Control of Each Resource

LONG DESCRIPTION:
Starting today, ERCOT will begin posting a list of Entities in control of
Resources in accordance with subsection (e) of P.U.C. Subst. R. 25.502, Pricing Safeguards in Markets Operated by
the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, and ERCOT Protocol Section
12.4.4.2.3.3, Public Posting of Entity-Specific Market Reports.
The current list includes Generation Resources represented
in the Network Operations Model.
In conjunction with the Nodal Market transition, ERCOT
established this list of Generation Resources based on authorized declarations
from Resource Entities that own the Generation Resources.
A manual process will be used to maintain this list on a
monthly basis until implementation of the Nodal Market upon which time it will
become a daily programmed report in accordance with Nodal Protocol Section
3.2.5, Publication of Resource and Load Information.
The list, titled “Resource Controlling Entity”,
is posted on ERCOT.com under Key Documents on the “Planning and Market
Reports” page at the following address:
http://www.ercot.com/gridinfo/sysplan/.
ACTION REQUIRED: Each
Resource Entity shall notify ERCOT of any change in control of a Resource that
it controls no later than 14 calendar days prior to the date that the change in
control takes effect, or as soon as possible in a situation where the Resource
Entity cannot meet the 14 calendar day notice requirement.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Resource
Entities that own a Resource shall notify ERCOT of any change in control. To
authorize a change, the Controlling Entity Declaration form shall be completed,
signed by the Authorized Representative of the Resource Entity that owns the
Resource and submitted to ERCOT as instructed on the form. The Controlling
Entity Declaration form can be found on the Resource registration page (http://www.ercot.com/services/rq/re/)
and also as a link under the list of Resources on the “Planning and
Market Reports” page of ERCOT.com.
