SHORT DESCRIPTION: UPDATE:  TSP Model Validation assistance from ERCOT

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  TSP Account Executives and Project Managers, ROS, NATF

DAY AFFECTED:  March 24, 2010, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (CDT)

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will host a WebEx session Wednesday, March 24, 2010, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM to answer questions and orient Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) to the tools and data within the Network Model Management System (NMMS) for completing Network Operations Model validation efforts.

ERCOT requests that TSPs RSVP to the workshop and email any questions ahead of time. This will help ERCOT assist companies with information in completing their model validation efforts ([log in to unmask]). If your company has not completed its model validation efforts and has questions, this is the opportunity to ask questions of ERCOT and get a NMMS system re-orientation.

At this point, 90% of equipment has been validated and the remaining validations are due by March 31, 2010. After this date, TSPs will be downgraded to “red” in Nodal metrics if not complete, as part of metric MP-14C (http://scorecard.ercot.com/mp/group_metrics/4).
