SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Initial and Final determination of RMR status for Valero Refining – Texas, LP Coastal Coast Units 1 and 2

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  April 26, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: Valero Refining – Texas, LP submitted a Notice of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Coastal Coast AG1 and AG2 on April 1, 2010. ERCOT has completed its preliminary review and is issuing its initial determination that these Resources are not required to support ERCOT System reliability. Pursuant to Section 6.5.9.1(6), this Notice will also serve as the final determination, and the Resources may cease or suspend operations according to the schedule in the NSO.
