SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced Retail Transaction processing issues on April 12, 2010 from 08:58 to 11:27.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs 

DAY AFFECTED:  April 12, 2010 from 08:58 to 11:27

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced Retail Transaction processing issues on April 12, 2010 from 08:58 to 11:27.  ERCOT has determined this Retail Processing issue was the result of a hardware failure.     

At this time, all ERCOT Retail Transaction processing has been restored. 

Backlogged transaction processing was completed by 17:30 on April 12, 2010.

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT has identified the volume and transactions that were impacted by this issue and as a result processed out of protocol.  Counts by Tran Type are provided below:
