NOTICE TYPE:  Oncor Outage

 

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Oncor is experiencing an outage affecting its Data Center, impacting the majority of its IT systems.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

 

DAY AFFECTED:  June 11, 2010

 

LONG DESCRIPTION: At approximately 1:00 pm, Oncor started experiencing an outage at its primary Data Center, impacting the majority of the IT systems.  At this point, there is no estimated restoration time for these systems.

 

Currently, Oncor is not able to process EDI transactions and Oncor has suspended disconnect for non-pay activities.  During this event, Oncor will focus on power on issues.  The Oncor Call Center is able to report power outages for your customers through its backup systems.  REPs should submit any required reconnect orders on the market approved emergency reconnect spreadsheet.  Priority move-ins should be submitted on the market approved priority move-in spreadsheet.  These spreadsheets should be submitted to all of the following e-mail addresses:
