SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will not conduct the LFC System-wide 8-Hour Test on June 16, 2010

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities, QSEs with Resources, Resource Entities, Nodal Accountable Executives, Nodal Transition Project Managers, Market Trial Contacts

DAYS AFFECTED:  June 17 – 18, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will not conduct the LFC System-wide 8-Hour Test on June 16, 2010. The 8-Hour Test will be conducted on one of the following days:

· June 17, between 10:00 and 18:00

· June 18, between 10:00 and 18:00

A Market Notice will be sent two days prior to each possible test day to announce if that day has been targeted to conduct the test. An additional Notice will be sent on the day of the test three hours prior to the test start time.

ACTION REQUIRED: Please advise operators and other personnel performing Zonal market activities of the upcoming 8-Hour LFC Test and ensure that the necessary support staff will be available between 07:00 and 18:00 on the day of the test as well as during normal business hours (08:00 to 17:00) during all others days during this test week.
