SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Changes to the MarkeTrak User Guide

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED: June 21, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Changes have been made to the MarkeTrak User Guide – Sections 2 and 4, to accommodate PUCT Project 37291 and Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) 087, addressing Switch Holds due to Meter Tampering. Edits submitted will be reviewed in the June 23 MarkeTrak Task Force meeting and final versions will be posted to the ERCOT website prior to the July 1, 2010 implementation of the new Meter Tampering rules.

In addition, the User Guide has been updated to reflect a change made in association with internal ERCOT project 90006 – Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).  Section 4 has been updated to note that the reprocessing of retail transactions by ERCOT will be limited to one year from the original processing date.

Revision drafts titled “MarkeTrak_User_Guide_ Meter_Tampering_Draft”  and “MarkeTrak_User_Guide_Section4_OtherD2D” have been posted at http://www.ercot.com/committees/board/tac/rms/marketraktf/ under the “Key Documents” section at the bottom of the page.

ACTION REQUIRED: Market Participants are requested to send any suggested edits to their assigned Retail Account Manager by COB on Monday, June 21, 2010.
