SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will not begin the 24-Hour Full-System Market and Reliability Test on August 3, 2010

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities, QSEs with Resources, Resource Entities, Nodal Accountable Executives, Nodal Transition Project Managers, Market Trial Contacts

DAY AFFECTED:  August 3, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will not begin the 24-Hour Test on August 3, 2010. The 24-Hour Test will begin on one of the following days:

· August 4, 2010, beginning at 12:00 CDT

· August 5, 2010, beginning at 12:00 CDT

A Market Notice will be sent two (2) business days prior to each test day to announce if that day has been targeted to begin the test. An additional Notice will be sent on the start day of the test three (3) hours prior to test start time

ACTION REQUIRED: Please advise operators and other personnel performing Zonal market activities of the upcoming 24-Hour Test and ensure that the necessary support staff will be available between 0800 and 1700 next week until the test is completed as well as during all hours of the 24-Hour Test window.
