SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will host a workshop on coordination of network modeling and outage scheduling activities in the Nodal market

LONG DESCRIPTION: Transmission Service Providers (TSPs), Resource Entities (REs) and Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) are responsible for the submission of changes to Transmission Facilities and Resources that are part of the ERCOT Network Model. TSPs and QSEs are also responsible for submission of requests for outages or notification of outages to ERCOT using the Outage Scheduler (OS). ERCOT is responsible for maintenance of the Network Model Management System (NMMS) database and the production of Network Models on a schedule that supports the use of the Network Models in system operations and market operations.
ERCOT is hosting this workshop to delineate the roles and responsibilities of TSPs, REs, QSEs and ERCOT, as well as to explain the timelines required to coordinate the submission of Network Model updates and outage schedules with scheduled Network Model updates. The workshop will also address the coordination of Network Model updates and outages that must be followed when outages and model updates must be made for Transmission Facilities and Resources, especially during the process of energization or removal of equipment from service.
