SHORT DESCRIPTION: TCR payments to be refunded to ERCOT due to the resettlement of Operating Day June 17, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION: Market Notice M-B073010-01 stated that ERCOT corrected the zonal Market Clearing Prices for Energy (MCPEs) for the Settlement Intervals ending 10:15 – 14:00 on Operating Day June 17, 2010. These Settlement Intervals occurred during the Nodal 8-hour Load Frequency Control (LFC) Test when Commercially Significant Constraints (CSCs) in zonal were seen as active. As a result of these price corrections, ERCOT is issuing Transmission Congestion Right (TCR) Charge Invoices totaling $325,932.24. TCR payments affected by these Settlement Intervals have been resettled and TCR Invoices have been reposted to the Texas Market Link (TML) with the file name “MSC.<Post Date>.#Entity Name_Trade_Day_06_17_2010###.pdf”. TCR-only Market Participants without access to TML will have their Invoice emailed to them from ERCOT Client Relations.

The publication of these adjusted TCR Invoices was not synchronized with the timing of the June 17, 2010, re-settlement activities. A related settlement Market Notice is also being released today to clarify the timing of payment to the market.

ACTION REQUIRED: The payment for the TCR Invoice is due to ERCOT on Friday, August 20, 2010. Please remit payment by August 20, 2010.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The MISCELLANEOUS folder is found in the TML list of folders. Access to this folder will require a Digital Certificate with the “Reports” role assigned. If you do not already have a Digital Certificate and require access, please contact your company’s User Security Administrator (USA). All files posted to the MISCELLANEOUS folder will remain visible for 30 days before rolling off.
