SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT’s
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application experienced an outage on September
22, 2010 from 18:20 to
19:03.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs
DAYS AFFECTED: September 22, 2010 from 18:20 to 19:03
LONG DESCRIPTION: On September 22, 2010 from 18:20 to 19:03, ERCOT
experienced an outage of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application which impacted retail
transaction processing.
Processing of impacted transactions resumed immediately following the
outage, and ERCOT has verified that all transactions have been processed
successfully. No action by Market Participants is necessary.
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: This outage was due to an application failure.
