LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT continues to seek and provide opportunities for Load
Serving Entities (LSEs) and Retail Electric Providers (REPs) to participate in
forums in preparation for the transition to the Texas Nodal Market. ERCOT
will host a nodal market readiness workshop for LSEs and REPs on Wednesday,
October 6, 2010. The workshop aims to provide a forum
for presentations and discussion of key nodal market concepts and to facilitate
the exchange of ideas between Market Participants on the impacts of the nodal
market rules on LSEs and REPs. Several panels of invited guests will share
their ideas on the risks and opportunities of the new ERCOT nodal market for
Load Serving Entities (LSEs).
An agenda of the workshop and
topics to be discussed by the panels will be sent as an update to this Market
Notice once the details are finalized.
