*******TEXAS NODAL MARKET NOTICE*******

NOTICE DATE:  November 16, 2010

NOTICE TYPE:  Extracts

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER – MIS Extract Subscriber is now available

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  November 15, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On Monday, November 15, 2010, the Market Information System (MIS) Extract Subscriber became available for Market Participants (MPs) to subscribe to the certified Commercial Operations extracts. These extracts are in addition to those that each MP is currently receiving in the zonal production system. Extracts which were provided to MPs by default, or during nodal Market Trials, will need to be re-scheduled via the MIS Extract Subscriber.

No additional action is necessary to continue to receive extracts for which MPs have actively subscribed to via the Texas Market Link (TML) Extract Scheduler.

In order to receive any of the certified data extracts listed below, other than those extracts that MPs actively subscribed to via TML Extract Scheduler and receive in production today, MPs will need to go to the MIS Application Landing Page/ERCOT Applications Portlet (https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Applications/Applications), access the Extract Subscriber Application and subscribe to the desired extracts. The subscription must be completed prior to the First Run Date of each desired extract, as listed in the chart below. MPs that subscribe to receive an extract prior to the First Run Date will receive all available data sets produced by ERCOT from the First Run Date going forward.

Note that the First Run Date for the Market Participant Dispute Extract is November 18, 2010. Thus, MPs who want to receive the Market Participant Dispute Extract on the First Run Date must subscribe to this extract no later than November 17, 2010.

ERCOT will not regenerate extracts for MPs that do not subscribe to the desired extracts prior to the First Run Date.

Some extracts have an option to be received in either csv or xml format. MPs may only select to receive one format type for each extract.

If an MP subscribes to receive either the Day Ahead Market Consolidated Operating Day Extract or the Real Time Market Consolidated Operating Day Extract, by default the MP will receive both extracts because both are necessary to perform a full shadow settlement. This ensures that ERCOT is delivering a complete data set necessary to perform shadow settlement for each Operating Day. These extracts are the sole intended source for shadow settlement data.

For reference, the Extract Subscriber User Guide is located in the User Guides section at http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/userguides/.
