NOTICE DATE: November 30, 2010 NOTICE TYPE: M-A113010-01 Operations SHORT DESCRIPTION: Market Manager access issues INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) DAY AFFECTED: November 30, 2010 LONG DESCRIPTION: Some Market Participants are experiencing an intermittent issue when accessing the Market Manager on the Market Information System (MIS). This issue causes Market Manager sessions to be lost or non-responsive and an exception screen to appear when other ERCOT web applications are running or have previously been running in the same session. As a workaround, open the Market Manager using the following steps to avoid encountering this issue: 1. Close all web browsers 2. Use a bookmark that launches the Market Manager directly (https://mis.ercot.com/mmsui/mmsui/displayTradesLanding.action) 3. Once inside Market Manager, do not navigate away from the browser window that launched the Market Manager * This does not restrict a user from utilizing other browsers or applications on the host computer after the Market Manager is launched.
