LONG DESCRIPTION:
ERCOT hosted a one-day workshop in Austin on
Tuesday, November 9, 2010, on topics of special
interest to Load Serving Entities (LSEs) and Retail Electric Providers (REPs)
and their readiness for the transition to the Texas Nodal Market. The workshop
consisted of panel discussions on changes that the
nodal market will introduce to the business environment of REPs in the ERCOT
market. Two panels of invited guests shared their ideas and answered questions
from the audience on the risks and opportunities of the new ERCOT nodal market
