SHORT DESCRIPTION: FINAL REMINDER – ERCOT to host Nodal Market Workshop for Retail Electric Providers

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will host a one-day workshop on topics of special interest to Load Serving Entities (LSEs) and Retail Electric Providers (REPs) and their readiness for the transition to the Texas Nodal Market. The workshop will be held in Austin on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Commissioner Donna Nelson of the Public Utility Commission of Texas and Marcie Zlotnik, Chairman and Co-Founder of StarTex Power and ERCOT Board Member, will be on hand to welcome attendees and emphasize readiness activities for REPs as the ERCOT market prepares for the December 1^st opening of the nodal market. The workshop will consist of panel discussions on changes that the nodal market will introduce to the business environment of REPs in the ERCOT market. Two panels of invited guests will share their ideas and answer questions from the audience on the risks and opportunities of the new ERCOT nodal market for LSEs.
